She's odd-looking.

Luna has long, pale blond hair that runs down messily past her shoulders and pale, protubent blue eyes that give her a constant expression of surprised fascination. Her clothes are almost completely miscellaneous in nature: she wears witches' robes of surprising colors (sweet cornflower blue and then bright and blinding magenta). When dressed in Muggle (non-magical) clothing, there remains the same constant unorthodoxy in style. She likes accessories and has a habit of making them herself - vegetable-based earrings and exciting homemade hats.

It's Luna. She invents her own appearance everyday.

Luna believes in everything. She believes in the existence of snorkacks, the elegance of bottle caps, and courage in people. She believes in wht she chooses to whole-heartedly, and with passionate conviction. Anything is possible in her world; nothing is strange or very unusual at all. In Luna's head, everything makes perfect senese. It's a very serene place inside of her skull - cruelty, doubt, and worry aren't in residence there.

She's honest like nobody else is. It's a skill she had -- the dreamiest sense of being an uncomfortable honest person in a largely dishonest, unsure world. Along with her honesty, she manages to be kind and brave in ways that surpass others. And even though she seems dreamy and distant, disconnceted in a sense -- perhaps even completely mad -- she's very, very intelligent.
